TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Class Bookings & Attendance

1.1 Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD reserves the right to refuse admission to classes or workshops.

1.2 Students must be 18 years or over to attend general classes and workshops at  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD unless otherwise specified.

1.3 Classes are booked on a first-come first-served basis.

1.4 Students must arrive and check in no later than 5 minutes before class start time. Places may be given to wait-listed students after this time.

1.5 If you are more than 15 minutes late for your class, for safety reasons it is not possible to join the class.

1.6 In case of cancellation of a class, full refund will be offered for the single drop-in class. For credit bundles or multiple yoga class passes, the cancelled class will be restored to the account.

1.7 In the unlikely event that a Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD workshop is cancelled, 100% of the payment will be refunded, or an alternative workshop will be offered, unless differently specified.

1.9 If daily classes, workshops or private classes are halted or interrupted due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD there will not be a refund if more than half of the event has been completed (start and finish times/ dates inclusive).

1.10 Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD accepts no responsibility for cancellations, delays, changes or losses caused by acts of God, war, and threat of war, closure of airports, storms or flooding, interrupted train or bus services, civil strife, pandemics, epidemics, natural disasters, accidents or any other events beyond their control.

1.11  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD accepts no responsibility for injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions of customers developed during or subsequent to classes or workshops.

1.12  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD accepts no responsibility for loss of, or damage to, personal property during their attendance at the studio.

2. Payments

2.1 All yoga passes and credit bundles purchased are non-refundable and non-transferrable and must be used by the person specified at time of purchase.

2.2 When purchasing a credit bundle, you agree to use all classes by the expiration date indicated.

2.3 A credit bundle’s expiry cannot be extended beyond its expiry date.

2.4 Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD cannot guarantee a place in a class or a workshop until the full payment has been received.

2.5  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD has full discretion to offer discounts and concessions to individuals as it sees fit. This does not automatically entitle other customers to the same discounts and concessions.

2.6 Only one (1) discount offer is eligible per purchase.

2.7 Credit Cards are processed in Euros at the time of payment. Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.

3. Class Cancellation Policy

3.1 Without exception, pre booked classes or workshops must be attended. Cancellation of a booked class or workshop will be accepted up to 24 hours before the class to avoid forfeiting the class or workshop value. There are no exceptions, or discretion for this policy.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Class passes and bundles cannot be refunded or returned, exchanged or transferred between persons.

4.2 Medical Cancellations – Refunds or part refunds for membership fees, private classes or workshop fee may be considered for medical reasons and with a medical certificate. Refund requests are assessed on an individual basis, without precedent, at the discretion of the President of Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD whose decision is final.

4.3 When booking classes, workshops, events or training courses, it is your responsibility to check dates for suitability. Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD is not responsible for errors or miscalculations in your booking dates.

4.4 Workshop fees including deposits are non-refundable. If the workshop booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the fee can be used as full or part payment for a future workshop.

4.5 Gift vouchers may be used for virtual and non virtual services. Gift vouchers are not eligible for exchange for cash value.

5. Security of Information

5.1  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD takes the privacy and security of our clients and their personal information very seriously. Information collected is used strictly by them to provide services to you and is required for the provision of their services.

5.2 Information submitted to Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD) may be shared with administrative staff and teachers solely for the purpose of administration and teaching.

5.3  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD engages in social media networking, such as Facebook, Instagram etc. as part of the company’s promotional endeavours, which may involve sharing of photos or other information. You will be asked for consent in advance for studio photo shoots or sharing of personal information.

5.4  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD will not sell clients personal information to others.

5.5  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD will not share health or medical information that may have been provided in regards to participating, withdrawing, or refund requests from a program, yoga class, or workshop.

6. Injuries and Medical Conditions

6.1 Clients agree that they undertake any classes or workshops at their own risk.  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD holds no liability for physical injuries or psychological/mental ill health that occur to clients or trainees during workshops, trainings or classes.

6.2 Clients are fully responsible for following the instruction of Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD teachers for injury prevention, including modifications for asana and use of props.

6.3 Clients with pre-existing and existing physical injuries and medical conditions should seek medical advice before purchasing class passes/p and workshops.

6.4 Clients agree to monitor their own bodies and be responsible for their self care during classes and workshops.

6.5 Clients with pre-existing and current injuries and medical conditions have contacted their treating physician or allied professional (physiotherapist, counsellor etc.) for clearance to participate in online classes and workshops.

6.6 Yoga during pregnancy is contraindicated for the first trimester, because the highest risk for miscarriage occurs in the first trimester. Yoga can be practiced after the first trimester but it must be modified. Clients who suspect they may be pregnant are required to seek medical advice before purchasing a class or workshop event. Our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our clients.

6.7 By partaking in workshops and classes, you as the client retains control and direction over all your physical activities and voluntarily assumes full liability and accepts the risk of harm, including physical injury and discomfort as a result of participation in activities during the classes or workshops.

6.8 The nature of a yoga workshop and classes includes a certain level of interpersonal physical contact. By participating a customer voluntarily agrees to this contact and understands its professional nature.

7. Photo / Video Release

7.1 From time to time  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD uses digital images and videos of workshops and classes for use in a promotional capacity on Facebook, Instagram and the company website etc. Clients will be informed and you will be asked in advance for consent if you wish to participate in the workshop or class.

7.2 Photos and videos taken by clients during workshops and classes are strictly prohibited.  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD retains no liability for use of pictures or videos taken by other paying participants in the workshops or classes.

8. Use of Materials

8.1 Unless otherwise stated,  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD owns the intellectual property rights for all material used for all online workshops, trainings and classes.

8.2 All intellectual property rights are reserved.

8.3 You must not redistribute content from Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD website (unless content is specifically made for redistribution).

8.4 Materials that are part of any workshop or yoga class including but not limited to  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD digital learning resources, logos, trademarks and web pages content are the property of  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD. Using this information with third parties or for financial gain without full permission of Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD is strictly prohibited and liable to legal action.

9. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

9.1 By purchasing a Membership, booking a class or workshop or any other event you are stating that you fully and voluntarily agree to said Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that you have both read and fully comprehend the nature and consequences of agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

9.2 It may be necessary to review and revise these Terms and Conditions. Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD reserves the right to review and change these terms and conditions at any time. If revised, changes will be posted on the website. 10. Legislation

10.1  Ashtanga Yoga Venezia ASD Terms and Conditions are policed by the laws of Italy.
